The idea

HESTA believes their members should be empowered to take control of their retirement. We agree, so we set out to deliver an online experience big on simple interaction, content that matters, and a design that puts the fun in superfund.

We future-proofed content and publishing, integrating them into a single platform in Adobe Experience Manager. We also built HESTA’s new Stories content section, a magazine-style hub housing member stories and articles.

On the design end, we created dozens of visual components and templates in line with the vibrant colour palette, allowing HESTA to confidently arrange and assemble elements as they see fit.

More than just pretty purples

HESTA wanted a revamp bold and bright – just like their people. We ran with everything from colour themes to motion design, including injecting cues from the HESTA logo as a “bookend” framing and branding device site-wide.

Super strategy for super powers

We tested and user-journeyed our way to a strategy for HESTA’s vision: giving users the power to achieve their retirement goals. This included full lifecycle mapping to identify key moments in member interaction and feed into engagement-driving content.

By marrying beautiful design with user-centric content, we delivered a site for HESTA that makes using super simple, inviting and rewarding for members and employers alike.
