A digital Toy Box to help kids say no to boredom during the school holidays.

The idea

We created the Toy Box so parents could shop online for toys and discover ideas to keep the kids active and entertained. The twist? We selected 10 kids to help create 10 product pages based on what they love and how they want it to look. We wanted the whole shopping experience to be easy, inspiring and most importantly – fun!

We hid little pockets of fun throughout the user journey, ignited by simple things like refreshing the page or putting items in the cart.

Our brief was to inspire and encourage parents to browse the latest Kmart toy range and increase conversion.

The Toy Box was a place in which parents could shop online for toys and discover ideas to help keep the kids active and entertained over the school holidays. We wanted the whole shopping experience to be frictionless, easy, inspiring and most importantly, fun!

We created a beautifully-designed responsive site and rich video content featuring real testimonials from kids reviewing the toys they loved. The visual direction was inspired by a kid’s world, with bright primary colours and playful kid’s sketches.
